Responsibilities include, but not limited to

The Recruiting Manager is the designated point person entrusted to manage all aspects of the Firm’s recruiting process and establish a scalable and highly sophisticated talent attraction and retention operation. 

 

  • Assist with developing and leading a highly functioning team of talent acquisition professionals delivering diverse talent for hire against our internal infrastructure and client facing roles.
  • Design and deliver relevant and appropriate talent acquisition strategies centered on attracting and hiring highly skilled, diverse talent. Develop strategies, provide coaching, and execute initiatives to drive candidate pipeline development.
  • This individual will need to partner with management to review the current processes and introduce new recruiting initiatives.
  • They will serve as a strategic advisor to all project and hiring managers in developing job requirements, sourcing and screening candidates, scheduling interviews, interviewing candidates, reference and background checks, offer package preparations, and offer negotiations as well as strong project involvement and client interaction.
  • Design, implement, execute and oversee the entire recruitment and selection process from creating job descriptions; identifying the recruitment strategy; qualifying candidates to position requirements for current and future opportunities, hire recommendations and assist with offer letters, on-boarding training and retention
  • Develop strategies to target and recruit using a variety of tools and techniques, including, but not limited to, social networking, employee referrals, third party job boards, industry events, etc.
  • Help manage search activities to include: maintaining candidate spreadsheets, liaising with search firm contacts and leading overall search processes
  • Manage, administer and maintain applicant tracking systems - managing the feedback process, interviewing candidates, following up with candidates, following up with interviewers, coordinating with recruiting agencies, etc.
  • Assist with establishing internship programs and maintaining campus relationships, including the coordination of interviews, information sessions, and any campus-related events
  • Act as an ambassador of culture, values, work environment, business strategies, benefits, and other areas of interest to a candidate as necessary
    Build relationships with incoming new staff and assist with offer letters, on-boarding/integration, relocation, mentoring assignments, etc.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to both deliver and develop pro-active Recruiting practices and initiatives
  • Very strong recruiting and sourcing skills
  • Proven track record and demonstrated ability of:
    • Implementing innovative and effective strategies for sourcing passive candidates
    • Managing simultaneous processes and working across/coordinating among multiple functions within an organization
    • Attracting, developing and retaining top-tier candidates for various roles (finance and technology)
    • Coaching and influencing hiring managers and peer groups in decision making and strategic process
    • Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; experienced and adept with and prefers the use of technology in workflow, such as the use of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
    • Should be familiar with OFCCP, FLSA, and general employment laws
    • 8+years relevant recruiting experience (entrepreneurial environments; internship programs, campus recruiting, experienced and lateral hiring; finance and/or high tech industries with 50+ employees); intelligence community experience required, Ft Meade area experience preferred.
    • 2-4 years of management experience required.
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
