Responsibilities include, but not limited to

Team Varen is seeking a Junior CNO Analyst/Programmer to bring their A-game in suport of this Department of Defense team. Opportunity to support a challenging and mission-critical projects in Computer Networks Operations (CNO) by designing and developing custom software of CNO tools and techniques.

Qualifications

REQUIRED: Successful candidates must have at least 5 years’ experience in a commercial or academic field of computer science, information systems, or network engineering. Must have at least 1 year programming experience (Assembly, C, C#, C++, Java, Perl, and Python) and 1 year experience developing Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET environments OR 1 year experience developing UNIX applications using make files or comparable build environments.

DESIRED: Ideal candidates will have some reverse engineering experience and skills in vulnerability research, vulnerability analysis and/or exploit development. Must be familiar with software version control tools (i.e. Subversion, CVS, etc.) and able to debug software and troubleshoot issues.
